Reaching new HVAC Benchmarks

Ensuring Critical Systems Perform as Intended

Successful projects depend on more than installation alone. Commissioning and qualification provide the assurance that HVAC and critical building systems are operating safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements before a facility becomes operational.

At NXTGEN Air Solutions, we work alongside project teams to verify system functionality, identify issues early, and validate performance against design intent. Through a structured and independent approach, we help minimise risk, reduce costly rework, and support a smoother transition from construction to occupancy.

Our commissioning and qualification services are trusted across healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical environments, laboratories, and other critical spaces where performance, compliance, and reliability are non-negotiable.

Independent Validation You Can Rely On

In regulated environments, compliance must be demonstrated, not assumed. Our NATA-accredited testing and certification services provide independent verification that HVAC systems, cleanrooms, and controlled environments are performing to the standards required.

Using recognised testing methodologies and accredited reporting processes, we help clients validate environmental performance, support regulatory requirements, and prepare for audits, accreditation, and operational handover.

Whether supporting a new facility, refurbishment, or ongoing compliance program, our testing services provide the confidence that critical systems are functioning as intended and supported by reliable, defensible data.

Expert Guidance for Complex Projects

Navigating technical challenges, compliance obligations, and evolving project requirements requires experience and independent expertise. NXT Gen AS provides consulting and advisory services that help clients make informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Our team supports builders, consultants, facility operators, and project stakeholders with design reviews, compliance strategy, troubleshooting, risk assessments, and technical investigations. By identifying potential issues early and providing practical recommendations, we help reduce uncertainty and improve project outcomes.

From concept and design through to commissioning and operation, we act as a trusted technical partner focused on delivering practical, compliant, and effective solutions.

Confidence Beyond Project Handover

Achieving compliance is only part of the equation. Maintaining performance throughout the life of a facility is equally important, particularly in healthcare, pharmaceutical, and other highly regulated environments.

Our compliance and performance assurance services provide independent oversight to help verify systems continue to operate in accordance with Australian Standards, GMP requirements, project specifications, and operational objectives.

Through ongoing assessments, performance verification, and detailed reporting, we help organisations reduce compliance risk, improve operational confidence, and maintain the integrity of critical environments long after construction has been completed.

FAQs

Have questions?
At what stage of a project should you be engaged?

We are typically engaged during the design finalisation or early construction phase, however we regularly support projects at all stages. Early involvement allows us to review specifications, define commissioning and testing requirements upfront, and reduce risk, rework, and delays later in the project.

Are all testing services NATA‑accredited?

Yes. All testing services we perform are conducted in accordance with our ISO/IEC 17025 quality system and fall within our NATA‑accredited scope, ensuring results are accurate, traceable, and suitable for regulatory and audit review.

What types of environments do you work in?

We operate across healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical and life‑science environments, cleanrooms, and complex construction projects. This includes critical ventilation systems, cleanroom facilities, biological safety cabinets, and smoke control systems.

Do you work to specific standards and regulatory requirements?

Yes. Our work is aligned with TGA requirements, NATA accreditation standards, ISO 14644 (Parts 1 & 3), AS 1807, AS 2252, and other applicable Australian and international standards relevant to the project and environment.

Do you assist with both commissioning and testing?

Yes. We provide end‑to‑end support, including specification review, commissioning strategy development, on‑site commissioning, testing, witnessing, certification, and structured handover. This ensures consistency, clarity, and defensible outcomes throughout the process.

Can you support projects already under construction or operational facilities?

Absolutely. We regularly engage on live projects, upgrades, and operational facilities, providing commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and compliance support while minimising disruption to occupants and operations.

What is the difference between accredited testing and your in‑house test methods?

Accredited testing is performed strictly within our NATA scope and reported accordingly. In addition, we utilise validated in‑house test methods to complement accredited testing where deeper insight into system performance or operational risk is required. These methods are applied within our ISO/IEC 17025 framework and reported transparently.

Will your reports stand up to regulatory and audit scrutiny?

Yes. Our reports are clear, structured, and audit‑ready, designed specifically for regulators, auditors, and quality teams. Documentation is prepared with traceability, defined acceptance criteria, and alignment to relevant standards.

Do you provide support after testing and handover?

Yes. We remain available post‑handover to provide clarification, audit support, technical advice, and follow‑up testing where required. Our focus is on long‑term assurance, not just project close‑out.

What sets your approach apart from other providers?

Our difference lies in the detail we apply before testing begins, the precision of our execution, and the quality of our documentation. Combined with a collaborative, down‑to‑earth approach, this allows us to deliver reliable outcomes while building strong, long‑term client relationships.
